Job Description

Position Title: Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician
Location: Southbury Connecticut
Type: Full-Time Permanent

Overview:

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join a reputable outpatient primary care practice in Southbury CT. This is a full-time permanent position offering a rewarding opportunity to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.

Job Setting:

Join a well-established outpatient clinic that prioritizes continuity of care preventive medicine and chronic disease management. The practice features a modern facility experienced clinical support and a strong focus on work-life balance. No inpatient or hospital rounding required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver primary care services to adolescent adult and geriatric patients

  • Conduct annual physicals sick visits chronic disease management and wellness counseling

  • Collaborate with a team of NPs nurses and administrative staff to ensure efficient care delivery

  • Utilize EHR to maintain accurate documentation and care coordination

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based clinical protocols

  • Foster strong relationships with patients and their families to support long-term health goals

Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

  • Active or eligible Connecticut medical license

  • Strong clinical diagnostic and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to providing compassionate high-quality patient-focused care

  • Previous outpatient experience preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply
