Position Summary

Are you passionate about solving hunger promoting health and leading positive change The Manager of Food Operations will drive innovation in equitable food access through Trinity Alliances food pantry food delivery special events and food as medicine initiatives. This position leads a team of direct care staff and supports a significant volunteer force. The Manager of Food Operations is integral in supporting daily food initiative operations and linking community members with wrap-around support to meet all their social care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incorporate best practices regarding confidentiality into all job duties and communications in accordance with HIPAA Trinity policies and procedures and other applicable regulations.
  • Lead a team with an array of talents and responsibilities providing regular supervision mentoring coaching and support.
  • Coordinate food orders to ensure adequate food stock for programs.
  • Meet or exceed all nutrition guidelines for inventoried food items.
  • Maintain staff schedules as well as food operations calendars for outgoing and incoming food deliveries.
  • Oversee grants and contracts pertaining to our health and wellness programs; ensure fidelity to contracts is maintained throughout program implementation.
  • Track and monitor program budget.
  • Implement relevant training tracking systems and other processes necessary to support compassionate effective and dignified service.
  • Assist in conducting program evaluation.
  • Produce required and requested reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support robust volunteer recruitment training and engagement.
  • Meet with community stakeholders to develop coordinate and strengthen program services.
  • Work as part of the division and agency leadership teams to identify opportunities to strengthen and enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in relevant electronic and paper-based platforms; perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in human services with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Significant experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
  • One plus years of supervisory experience.
  • Expertise in navigating electronic records and quality assurance.
  • Valid drivers license insurance and good driving record.
  • Attention to detail and refined organizational skills.

Salary: $40000 - $43500

Full-time - 35 hours per week
