PASTOR OF CAMPUS OPERATIONS // EAGLE BROOK CHURCH
JOB OBJECTIVES
- Responsible for achieving campus operational and pastoral ministry objectives in the areas of Care Ministries Campus Support and Facilities
- Provides leadership and direction for execution of campus operations and care ministries
- Leads and empowers teams of staff and volunteers
- Reports to the Campus Pastor
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provides direct and indirect care for attenders utilizing additional pastoral staff and high-level volunteers as needed (care visits Pastor on Duty life events etc.)
- Recruits equips leads and empowers volunteer leaders of care ministries (after service prayer one-on-one cares baptisms weddings funerals etc.)
- Provides spiritual and organizational leadership to operational teams who:
- Support ministries with facility needs and database assistance
- Ensure the proper functioning of facilities and equipment
- Maintain safe and inviting environments
- Ensures standards for safety and security at the campus are met
- Recruits onboards and develops Safety and Security volunteer team
- Facilitates staff involvement in pastoral care life events decision follow up and membership interviews by distributing opportunities to campus staff and ensuring staff know the process for these events
- Recruits onboards and empowers contributions volunteers at the campus who can process weekend contributions
- Leads develops and supervises the Facilities Manager and Campus Support Coordinator
- Formulates budgets by providing input into developing and administrating budget tracking expenditures and reporting on budget variances
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
- Works with local law enforcement to coordinate contracted security coverage for services
- Approves calendar requests for facility usage
- Processes checks along with another staff person
- Serves as campus liaison for care ministries connecting attenders in need with pastoral volunteer and community resources
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
- Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook Churchs nine core beliefs
- Bachelors degree
- 2 years in leadership role in church or corporate environment
- Call to pastoral ministry and desire for people to know Jesus
- Strong evidence of a Christ-centered life
- Skilled in problem solving and conflict resolution
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast-paced team and cross-functional environments
- Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Passionate about building a healthy team environment
- Strong ability to multitask with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate a vision of challenging goals growth and progress
- Proven leader who can effectively execute an existing plan
- Effective in problem solving and conflict resolution
- Proficient in MS office products including Word PowerPoint Excel and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors or masters degree in ministry or operations-related area
- 2 years of supervisory experience in church or corporate environment
JOB DETAILS
- Location: White Bear Lake MN
- Status: Exempt/Salary
- Salary Range: $60000 $73000
- Full/Part Time: Full Time
- Regular/Temporary: Regular
- Workdays: Saturday Wednesday or Sunday Thursday depending on campus service schedule (must be able to meet when volunteers are available or pastoral care is needed)
- Work Hours: 8:00 am 4:30 pm with some evening hours for services meetings and events
- Remote Eligible: may be eligible to work remote one day per week

- Occasional operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment
- Occasional light work that includes adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions
- Occasional medium work that includes adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions
- Occasional working in small and enclosed spaces noisy environments high temperatures low temperatures and outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind
