Role Overview
The Director / VP of Operations is responsible for overseeing and integrating all operational functions that enable the day-to-day and strategic success of the company.
This includes global Supply Chain Fulfillment Logistics IT Infrastructure & Ops Cybersecurity and Facilities Management.
This role acts as the connective tissue across operational verticals delivering business continuity service excellence secure systems and scalable infrastructure.
While embedded in the Business Excellence COE the role reports to the COO aligning operations with the evolving needs of Customer Excellence.
The successful candidate will bring strategic thinking cross-functional leadership and executional precision to harmonize operational domains globally. Leading and developing a talented and dedicated team internationally.
We are looking for a Rising Star who can roll up their sleeves and bring high value to establishing and growing this portfolio of key functions. A master of Strategic Supply Chain (ideally in hardware manufacturing) with strong operational sensibilities understanding that business operations are the engine that drives Prod & Tech Excellence and Customer Excellence to perform.
Demonstrates integrity and awareness of the high impact of being a safeguarding sentinel that safeguards our business from operational vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Define a unifying operational strategy across supply chain IT logistics and facilities.
- Build and lead global teams setting clear KPIs for excellence efficiency and service delivery.
- Act as a strategic partner to Product Sales and Customer Excellence teams to align operational capabilities with commercial goals.
Supply Chain Procurement & Fulfilment
- Lead global physical and digital product fulfilment warehouse management and last-mile delivery.
- Oversee procurement strategies vendor relationships and contract manufacturing alignment.
- Monitor supply chain risk ensuring operational resilience and business continuity.
IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity
- Oversee the security availability and efficiency of all IT systems and tools to safeguard both external and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure outcomes for the global IT delivery (in areas such as service desk and infrastructure operations) to ensure their success.
- Lead senior IT leadership to develop and deliver robust cybersecurity frameworks policies risk registers and incident response protocols.
- Ensure IT BAU and compliance (device lifecycle access controls asset tracking and endpoint protection) are embedded across regions.
Facilities & Workplace Services
- Oversee global office facilities (HQ and satellite offices) ensuring safe compliant and effective workplaces.
- Manage the development and delivery of security protocols (access control surveillance) WHS policies and sustainability plans.
- Ensure high standards for workplace experience are maintained (sanitation maintenance physical security and workspace tools.)
Systems Tools & Automation
- Collaborate with BI teams to modernize and integrate tools (ERP WMS ITSM etc.).
- Champion automation and process standardization across ticketing asset management inventory control and workplace operations.
Governance Risk & Compliance
- Ensure operational compliance with regulations licenses data protection (e.g. ISO27001 journey GDPR SOC2) and audit requirements.
- Partner with Legal Finance People and Transformation functions to maintain policies and controls across IT and Ops domains.
People Leadership
- Personable and committed people leadership to get the best out of a talented and dynamic team.
- Owns and drives personal development plans for direct reports with target milestones to deliver growth.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10 years in senior operational leadership roles across manufacturing tech SaaS and hardware industries.
- Proven expertise in supply chain and experience with IT systems digital infrastructure and facilities oversight.
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity business continuity risk frameworks and compliance standards.
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management.
- Adept at change management systems optimization and cost-performance balancing.
- Familiarity with tools like NetSuite Salesforce Power BI Jira and ISMS framework.
Reporting & Governance
- Sits within the Business Excellence COE contributing to systems structure process and scalable operations.
- Reports to the Chief Operating Officer with a strong focus on supporting Customer Excellence delivery.
- Partners closely with Transformation Legal Finance People and Systems to uphold operational excellence.
