Location: Telford Shropshire
Working Hours: Thursday to Monday (Weekend shifts available)
Hourly Rate: Competitive depending on experience

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a professional HGV Class 1 Driver with fridge experience to join our established team in Telford. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 1 HGV license a minimum of two years driving experience and a proven track record of driving refrigerated vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys long weekend shifts and has a commitment to delivering goods safely and efficiently.
As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be responsible for driving refrigerated vehicles ensuring that goods are delivered on time and maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. Immediate starts are available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely driving a Class 1 HGV vehicle with refrigerated trailers.
Transporting goods to various locations in line with pre-planned routes.
Ensuring the fridge unit is working correctly to maintain temperature control during transportation.
Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy.
Adhering to all traffic regulations health and safety guidelines.
Providing excellent customer service when delivering goods.
Maintaining accurate delivery records and logs.
Requirements:
HGV Class 1 License (CE).
Minimum two years driving experience as an HGV driver.
Refrigerated vehicle (fridge) experience is essential.
Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and road safety regulations.
Ability to work Thursday to Monday (weekends available as well).
No more than 6 points on your driving license (insurance purposes).
Excellent communication skills and customer-focused approach.
