Were looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our FlashArray Secrets Management Team a highly skilled team with broad organizational influence and visibility across leadership.
This team plays a dual role:
- Developing advanced security-focused product capabilities that directly impact our revenue-generating capabilities and products.
- Championing security standards and best practices across engineeringensuring that security is embedded at every level of the development process.
Unlike many companies where security is under-resourced or siloed Pure Storage invests in security. Here youll be in a role that mattersnot only to internal stakeholders but also to our customers. Youll work on a product with critical dependencies and your teams work will have a direct impact on multiple lines of business and future products.

The ideal applicant will bring a strong blend of engineering excellence and a security-first mindset along with the leadership skills to drive high-quality delivery in a collaborative environment.
WHAT YOULL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- Over 4 years of technical management experience
- More than 5 years of experience in software development
- Proven track record of managing projects through the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) and delivering products on time.
- Dedicated focus on customer needs and feedback.
- Experience with agile methodologies particularly Scrum.
- In-depth knowledge of quality assurance best practices.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in Software Security concepts.
PREFERRED BUT NOT MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field.
- Familiarity with security certifications like FIPS and Common Criteria.
- Experience managing vulnerability remediation programs.
- Working knowledge of cryptography network security and their relationship to control and data planes.
- The ability to balance usability against security.
- Proven ability to evolve the SDLC as it relates to security concerns including: penetration testing OSS scanning static code analysis and dynamic code analysis
- Familiarity with emerging security trends (such as ransomware)
Relocation package provided.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore you will be expected to work from the Prague Czech Republic office in compliance with Pures policies unless you are on PTO or work travel or other approved leave.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
