About the Role
As a Youth Mentor you will proactively engage with job seekers guiding them towards sustainable employment. Your role involves motivating coaching and identifying transferable skills to help individuals thrive in the job market.
Required to meet specific targets you will provide tailored guidance/coaching job placement and ongoing support to your client commitment to understanding the unique employment needs of your diverse group of clients and collaborating with employers to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity is a key driver of success in this role.
Requirements:
A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID in order to access Government data aligned to role.
About You:
To excel in this role you will be committed to making a difference through connecting and supporting your clients into sustainable employment. You will be a confident communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to connect with youth.
Organisational skills attention to detail and proficiency in administrative and IT tasks will also be important. Adaptability and resilience are key traits as you navigate the diverse needs of job seekers and employers alike.
You must be able to balance empathy dignity and respect in your daily work with a drive to ensure we achieve positive business outcomes.
