De focus ligt op themas zoals energieopslag slimme en dynamische energievoorziening circulaire economie duurzame mobiliteit en klimaatadaptatie. Binnen het lab wordt actief gexperimenteerd getest en opgeschaald. Tasks
What Youll Do
Were
looking for a hands-on technically curious and proactive engineer to
support and drive innovation within our facility. You will have the
opportunity to build and test cutting-edge systems that push the
boundaries of energy and data technology.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing an electricity monitoring infrastructure within our building and test setups
- Making power usage data accessible and visual online in real-time
- Connecting this data to a smart battery system (energy storage and control)
- Developing forecasting models to predict energy demand and generation
- (Bonus) Creating 3D technical designs for hardware setups or system components
You will work closely with management but will often operate independently on key technical projects.
Requirements
What Were Looking For
- Bachelors degree (HBO) in Mechatronics Electrical Engineering Applied Physics or similar
- Strong interest in sustainability energy systems and technical innovation
- Experience with sensor systems data acquisition or IoT platforms is a plus
- Familiarity with Python MATLAB or similar tools for modeling or forecasting is beneficial
- Able to work independently hands-on and solution-oriented
- Experience with CAD/3D design tools (e.g. SolidWorks Fusion 360) is an advantage (Bonus points for FreeCAD)
- Good communication skills in English or Dutch
