This is a remote position.
We are seeking a detailoriented Finance Officer experienced in managing internal accounts finance and bookkeeping within an MSP environment. The successful candidate will handle daytoday accounting functions maintain financial records and support financial management processes primarily using Xero with Autotask experience highly regarded.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Generate client invoices manage billing processes and monitor collections.
Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and receivable.
Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations regularly.
Read and review monthly Profit & Loss Reports and provide insights.
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
Champion Autodesk improvements and streamline accounting processes.
Maintain accurate records in Xero and Autotask to ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with internal teams and key stakeholders for financial reporting and insights.
2 Years proven experience in finance/bookkeeping specifically within an MSP.
Strong working knowledge of Xero software is essential.
Experience with Autotask is highly regarded.
Comprehensive understanding of Australian accounting principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently.
