Job Description
- Oversee daily cellar operations including receiving storing and rotating stock.
- Maintain beer lines clean regularly and ensure correct cellar temperatures.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of kegs gas and bottled products.
- Liaise with suppliers and delivery drivers to manage and check deliveries.
- Ensure all drinks are served in peak condition by monitoring quality and presentation.
- Assist with monthly stock takes and report discrepancies.
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety and food hygiene regulations.
- Support the bar team with operational duties during peak periods as needed.
- Train team members on correct cellar and drink handling procedures.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience working in a bar or pub environment ideally in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of cellar operations beer line cleaning and stock control.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (barrels kegs).
- Knowledge of UK health & safety regulations relating to cellar and bar operations.
- A personal licence (desirable but not essential).
- Confident communicator and team player.
