Job Description
Join our professional team as a Supervisor/Assistant Housekeeper to maintain exceptional standards in guest accommodations and facilities.
- Support department managers in overseeing daily housekeeping operations
- Assume management responsibilities in the absence of the department manager
- Implement and maintain housekeeping best practices and standard operating procedures
- Coordinate daily room assignments and staff scheduling
- Provide guidance and support to housekeeping personnel
- Perform thorough room inspections to ensure quality standards
- Ensure guest rooms meet established cleanliness and presentation standards
- Provide operational support to team members as needed
- Enforce safety protocols and cleanliness standards
- Maintain quality control measures while meeting operational objectives
- Manage administrative responsibilities including inventory control and reporting
- Develop team effectiveness through training and professional development
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or training experience in hospitality or related field
- Demonstrated expertise in housekeeping operations cleaning protocols and chemical safety procedures
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels
- Proficiency in performing all guest room maintenance duties and housekeeping operations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Demonstrated computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software applications
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications and licenses
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in luxury or upscale hospitality environments
- Demonstrated track record of maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Experience in staff training and development
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
