Job Description
Responsibilities
Leads the development effort by conveying the vision to an Agile or Scrum delivery team outlining and prioritizing work based on business value. Liaises with stakeholders ensuring their interests are included in the release and the team to ensure the release is developed by the deadline and within budget. Responsible for the business aspects of the project including ensuring the right product is being built in the right order within budget and by the deadline. Serves as the Agile or Scrum delivery teams primary contact for information work prioritization and decisionmaking. Coordinate and monitor the Scrum process from initiation through delivery. Serve as liaisons between the product owner development team and management to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. Ensure that team members understand project objectives. Maintains product backlog and release plan and facilitate productivity by setting up meetings and removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the teams sprint goals. Preserves flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes. Is the facilitator for an agile development team. The scrum master manages the process for how information is exchanged.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility to obtain a polygraph.
- 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban etc.) including roles ceremonies and artifacts.
- Excellent problemsolving and facilitation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills capable of working with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and teamoriented environment.
- Familiarity with software development processes and tools (e.g. Jira Trello or similar tools).
- Comfortable with change and able to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with scaling Agile frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or equivalent Agile certification is highly desirable.
