Overview
Making the decision to enter treatment can be an intimidating experience for the people we support. You can make a difference.
As a Volunteer Recovery Worker with Change Grow Live youll work with people who use our services helping them get to where they want to be.
The Volunteer Recovery Coordinator Support Role will support service users through drug and alcohol treatment by assisting care coordinators. This will be through brief interventions group work recovery care planning and signposting to specialist services.
Responsibilities
With this role youll be working as part of substance misuse team based in Hastings.
No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual so being flexible curious and a good listener are key.
We will support you in this volunteering role by ensuring that you receive regular supervision and have someone on site who you can approach for daytoday advice and guidance. In return for the time you give you will receive valuable training and gain experience and skills. Youll be making a real difference too.
