Starting Rate: $19.38
We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $23.49
Job Duties Include:
- Responsible for sanitizing ice machines on guest room floors
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the backspaces. This will include but not limited to: sweeping mopping trash and recycling removal stocking and organizing
- Support Room Attendants by removing dirty linen from vacant guest rooms
- Responsible for stocking linens and guest supplies in appropriate places and to appropriate par levels (this task supports and assists the Room Attendants)
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the guest corridors and public spaces. This will include but not limited to: vacuuming dusting polishing damp dusting elevator track cleaning cleaning public washrooms brass polishing and trash removal.
- Responsible cleaning dirty glassware from guestrooms and restocking clean glassware in appropriate places and to appropriate par levels
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience is an asset
- Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs being professional and welcoming
- Must be able to make decisions individually and show problem solving ability
- Able to work well independently with little supervision
- Excellent communication and followup skills
- Excellent organizational skills and time management
Additional Information :
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
