Silgan Closures Evansville IN is hiring a Production Mechanic. This position will go through a graduated training program with increases throughout the program. Only qualified applicants will be scheduled for an inperson interview. Apply today!

What youll do:
Use your mechanical skills to diagnose and fix machine breakdowns.
Align punches with dies adjust stroke and draw pressure; install or adjust associated attachments such as feed mechanisms and any subassembly associated with the setup.
Setup maintain and adjust threaders and luggers compo ovens; remove and install tooling guides chutes etc.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
What youll need to have:
35 years proven mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment or proven experience with hydraulics pneumatics belts and pulleys.
Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Proven mechanical aptitude.
High School diploma or equivalent.
What we offer:
8hour workday with overtime as needed and/or wanted.
Rate of pay begins at $24.34/hour increases based on individual performance your gained knowledge determines when you get a pay increase. Pay rate after completing the training program is $27.28/hour. No topout pay.
Overtime is available.
Weekly pay.
A benefit package (health benefits include medical dental vision EAP RX life insurance & disability in one policy) that is affordable without an increased contribution for additional dependents a company sponsored pension and a matching 401(k) tuition reimbursement annual incentive pay.
Monthly Team Member surprises (food trucks giveaways etc.).
