Job Purpose
The role aims to enhance ECFRs digital communications by contributing to its online presence supporting the creation of multimedia content and ensuring effective dissemination of research and events. This position plays a key part in amplifying ECFRs voice through social media engagement media monitoring and stakeholder management while also providing valuable assistance across various communications activities to support the organizations strategic outreach goals
Main Responsibilities
- Contribute to ECFRs presence on social media platforms by creating and scheduling engaging content
- Assist in producing visual materials using Canva to promote ECFRs events and research
- Help record edit and prepare multimedia products including podcasts and short videos
- Support the publication process for commentaries and research papers on ECFRs website
- Assist in compiling media impact reports and monitoring outreach performance
- Maintain and update the media stakeholder database with accuracy
- Collaborate on a variety of communications tasks as needed
Person Specification
Education- Currently enrolled in Communications Political Science International Affairs Media Studies Marketing Graphic Design or a related field.
- Must be enrolled as a student during the entire duration of internship and must also be eligible to work in the EU
Desired Experience- Experience with Canva for creating audiovisual assets.
- Basic knowledge of podcast and video recording/editing software (e.g. Audacity Adobe Premiere/Audition Final Cut Pro Zencastr).
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram X LinkedIn).
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent written and oral communication in English.
- Basic understanding of the EU governance institutions and International Relations.
- Organizational skills and an eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multinational team.
Personal Attributes- Enthusiastic and proactive approach to work.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced office environment.
- Adaptable and flexible with a willingness to take on varied tasks.
