As a Solutions Architect within the AWS WWPS Partner team you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build broad use of Amazons utility computing web services (e.g. Amazon Lambda Amazon S3 Amazon EC2 and Amazon CloudFront) directly with our ecosystem of systems integrators consulting and technology partners. Your broad responsibilities will include: owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects; defining implementation architectures responding to RFPs developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies as well as broad knowhow around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform; and being a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services.

As a Solutions Architect on the WWPS Partners team you will provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership while working with a world class sales and business development team. You will lead efforts to capture and share bestpractice knowledge with the AWS solution architect community. You will gain the opportunity to learn from collaborate with and educate some of the brightest technical minds in the industry today across the breadth of enterprise architecture. Successful candidates will have a think big mentality and will be responsible for shaping implementing and managing initiatives to support small businesses. You will need to have a passion for supporting small businesses and be excited about the process of inventing and delivering high impact initiatives that help them thrive.

This position may require up to 30% travel.

4 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development cloud computing systems engineering infrastructure security networking data & analytics) experience
5 years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
Bachelors degree or CASP (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner) or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or Cloud or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)

Experience working within software development or Internetrelated industries
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
