Job Description
Lifesteps is hiring a FullTime Day Program Aide in the Butler area.
Lifesteps is a nonprofit human services organization which has been serving Western Pennsylvania for nearly 100 years by helping individuals and families with lifes changing needs. Position Summary:
An entry level position responsible for assisting the Senior Supervisor/Coordinator/Instructor/Program Specialist in carrying out program activities observing and reporting performance of clients in a variety of situations and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
This fulltime position works a schedule of 7:30am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday with weekends off!
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
High School Diploma/GED.
Obtain and maintain certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI).
First aid and CPR certification or the ability to obtain and maintain within six (6) months of hire date.
Current drivers license with the ability to travel for business utilizing personal vehicle.
Preferred:
Oneyear experience working with individuals in human services field.
Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators Certificate (ACRE).
Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP).
Associates Degree and six months to oneyear experience.
Bachelors Degree.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
