The Environmental Protection Specialist serves as the Recycling and Planning Coordinator within the SEROs Waste Management Program. This role requires a high level of expertise in solid waste management particularly focusing on planning and recycling initiatives. The specialist provides essential technical assistance and professional support tailored to the needs of the Department ensuring that the goals and priorities related to solid waste management are met. This includes facilitating compliance with relevant statutes regulations policies and guidance. The specialists knowledge is made available on an asneeded basis reinforcing the Departments commitment to effective waste management practices and promoting sustainable solutions within the community.
