About the role

Calvary Launceston are looking for an enthusiastic administrator to join our diverse compassionate and dedicated team to provide effective and efficient administrative support and customer service in a busy health care setting. The Administration Officer plays a key role in liaising with staff clients and their families and ensuring the delivery of exemplary customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Reception services and general assistance to patients visitors and staff
  • Collection and completion of accurate patient demographics
  • Direct patients and visitors to appropriate ward
  • Provide general clerical support
  • Admit patients and receipt patient excess payments on admission

What you bring

  • High degree of initiative and self motivation in working autonomously and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated time management and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work both within a team environment and autonomously
  • Proficient knowledge and application of Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
