The Position

We are seeking a proactive and professional Administration Team Leader to join our Sydney office and lead a high-performing support this diverse and fast-paced role youll oversee the smooth day-to-day operations of our administration function while providing direct legal assistant support to fee earners.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on variety takes initiative and enjoys balancing hands-on administrative work with leadership responsibilities.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing high-quality administrative and legal assistant support to fee earners including document preparation file management diary and email coordination and travel arrangements.
  • Leading and coordinating the administration team (Legal Assistants and Paralegals) ensuring appropriate resourcing workflow allocation and support.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the Sydney office including facilities IT coordination meeting and event logistics onboarding and offboarding and WHS.
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients and visitors and liaise with internal teams (e.g. People & Culture IT Marketing) to support broader operational needs.
  • Contribute to process improvement team culture and the consistent delivery of service aligned with the firms standards.

  • Experience in a similar administration leadership role ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence using business systems and tools.
  • Professional approachable and solutions-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • A team player who leads by example and reflects the firms values in day-to-day interactions.
