The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) team is seeking a Weapons Test Operations Senior Manager in St. Charles MO. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing employees and firstlevel managers in support of Air Dominance Phantom Works and Weapons flight test. The selected candidate will be responsible for all aspects of weapons test operations for both cruise missile systems and direct attack programs within the Precision Engagement Systems portfolio.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage employees and firstlevel managers performing activities within multiple (2 or more) Engineering disciplines
Develops and executes integrated departmental plans policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies goals objectives
Acquire resources for projects and processes provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports
Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
Manage develop and motivate employees and firstlevel managers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science
5 years of experience in a lead role as either a teambuilder or a teamleader
Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM)
Experience with schedule and risk management
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with flight test (requirements test planning execution instrumentation and/or analysis)
Experience with weapons programs
Experience in management positions
Masters degree or Equivalent from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science
