This is more than backend engineering youll drive innovation at the intersection of technology tax policy and international expansion. We are also utilizing GenAI and MLbased automation to revolutionize how tax compliance is delivered from realtime error detection to selfhealing reconciliation.
What Youll Do:
* Architect and build extensible selfserve platforms for withholding tax indirect tax audit readiness and more with scale and compliancebydesign as key principles.
* Lead Gen AIfirst product development for automating manual tax processes including proactive risk detection smart reconciliations and intelligent reporting.
* Collaborate across Fintech Global Tax Legal and international business teams to build countryspecific solutions that scale globally.
* Tackle ambiguity identify compliance gaps early and influence the roadmap across adjacent tech teams and partner organizations.
What Were Looking For:
* Experience designing highscale distributed systems and backend platforms.
* Passion for solving realworld highimpact problems at the intersection of tech and compliance.
* Technical depth with the ability to mentor others and lead design reviews.
* Exposure to AI/ML or interest in building Gen AIenabled systems is a big plus.

5 years of noninternship professional software development experience
5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
