About Us
The OttawaCarleton District School Board is the largest school board in Eastern Ontario and offers students and parents a world of choice for learning. Our nearly 150 schools offer a wide range of programs to promote learning excellence and meet the individual needs of students parents and the community at large. We are seeking creative dynamic and committed teachers to join our team at Stephen Leacock PS. We are a K6 French Immersion centre of approximately 500 students located on unceded and unsurrendered Algonquin Territory in North Kanata. Many of our students are multilingual and many of our parents and caregivers have a particular expertise in their field that led the family to Kanata North either from another location in Canada or from an International location. We have a strong focus on structured literacy in our school both in French and in English and we strive to build a strong foundation in mathematical thinking processes and procedures. We use the Third Path resource to support our students social and emotional development and sense of belonging and having adaptable student centered instruction is critical to our school success plan
All Occasional Teachers are eligible to apply for Long Term Occasional postings for which they are qualified.

OCT Divisional Qualifications: Primary
OCT Additional Qualifications: FSL Part 1
Additional Requirements (experience knowledge education) considered an asset for the Position: Kinder qualifications are an asset.
