About the role
Calvary Graphic Designers are pivotal in creating and updating a diverse range of design materials for use across internal and external environments as part of a purposedriven and encouraging team of designers dedicated to making a genuine impact.
In this permanent fulltime inhouse role you will work in a hybrid environment that features set yet flexible hours designed to help you maintain a worklife balance. You will also participate in a streamlined workflow with a sustainable workload that takes projects from clear briefs to refined final artwork. Working closely with the customer and communications team and stakeholders from Calvarys hospitals residential care retirement communities and home care you will ensure our refreshed corporate identity is represented accurately. As Brand Ambassadors your work is not just about great design best practiceits about delivering meaningful fitforpurpose visual communication that improves lives while upholding Calvarys mission vision and values.
Your main duties will include:
- Create and optimise digital and printready assets including but not limited to digital communications creative event campaigns document branding website images EDMs social media content infographics brochures flyers banners advertisements and outdoor signage. The majority of your time you will be applying the corporate brand to designed media (artworking) while also producing a number of large creative campaigns throughout the year.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to support design projects from briefing to final delivery.
- Implement best practice and research to evolve Calvarys branding collateral and continually improve the way we work.
About you
- Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design Visual Communications or similar
- Demonstrated experience in creative graphic design skills with a portfolio of digital and print (3 years)
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign Illustrator Photoshop. Experience with MS Word and MS Powerpoint. Experience with Canva desired but not essential
- Selfmotivated positive attitude with a high degree of initiative and ability to work autonomously
- Strong understanding of layout composition visual design principles and latest technologies with the ability to apply them to marketing communications
