The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Estimating and Pricing Specialist in Renton Washington.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Estimating Center of Expertise supporting the fastpaced and growing Commercial Aircraft on Ground (AOG) Repairs team in Renton by specializing in proposal development.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design build and aftermarket support stages of the program
Develops prepares and validates estimates and prices
Evaluates requests for proposal substantiates estimates/pricing and assembles price proposals
Evaluates and develops business cases
Performs analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk financial competitive etc.)
Develops and maintains pricing models
Incorporates data into and maintains structured systems and coordinates program database requirements
Develops/applies/maintains rates and factors for estimating pricing and proposals
Finds opportunities to apply existing GenAI machine learning and statistical models and assists in the development of new models through the sharing of experience and feedback
Occasional work outside of normal business hours will be required
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables
Experience building proposals utilizing pricing systems estimating and pricing tools and processes
Experience developing business case analysis
Experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas VLookups pivot tables charts filters and linking worksheets
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
Ability to work independently and with a crossfunctional team
Experience in manufacturing production or or assembly of commercial airplanes
Demonstrated attention to detail to ensure accuracy when analyzing and verifying technical data
Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with external customers and across multiple functions including Finance Contracts and technical disciplines
Ability to proactively apply problem solving skills
Works well independently and as part of a team
Selfmotivated with time management skills to meet tight schedules with first time quality
Ability to learn new systems and tools estimating techniques and gain program knowledge in a dynamic environment
Familiarity with commercial estimating
