Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated High School Engineering/Manufacturing Teacher to join the CTE department. The ideal candidate will be passionate about educating and inspiring students in the field of engineering and manufacturing with a strong foundation in STEM subjects. This role involves developing and delivering engaging curriculum fostering critical thinking problemsolving skills and preparing students for college and careers in engineering and related Responsibilities:Curriculum Development and Instruction:oDesign and implement a comprehensive engineering curriculum aligned with state and national various engineering courses including introductory and advanced levels covering topics such as robotics mechanical engineering electrical engineering and computeraided design (CAD).oDevelop lesson plans instructional materials and assessments that cater to diverse learning styles and projectbased learning and realworld applications to make engineering concepts accessible and Engagement and Support:oFoster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity creativity and individualized support and feedback to help students achieve their academic and career students in handson projects experiments and engineering challenges that enhance their problemsolving Development and Collaboration:oStay current with developments in engineering education and integrate new teaching methods and with colleagues in the STEM department to develop interdisciplinary projects and in school meetings professional development sessions and contribute to the schools extracurricular engineering programs such as clubs or and Reporting:oEvaluate and assess student progress through tests quizzes projects and other formative and summative accurate and timely records of student performance attendance and effectively with students parents and school administration regarding student progress and concerns.
