The Business Operations Services & Solutions (BOS&S) division within GBS Enterprise Services was created to deliver services internally to Pfizer colleagues and divisions that help create room for meaningful delivering our services with high performance against the Five Points of Value (i.e. optimal cost quality compliance client experience and business impact) we help colleagues spend more time focusing on their missions; all in support of breakthroughs that change patients services our team delivers include fleet operations records management privacy operations data analytics translations services contingent labor et. al. TheSenior Manager Information Governance and Records Management (IGRM) Technology and Platform Managementwill apply program leadership and technical expertise to oversee a portfolio of IGRM systems tools and technologies that support the preservation of Pfizer records and ensure compliance with Pfizers IGRM responsibilities.

What You Will Achieve

In this position you will be responsible for identifying integrating and managing IGRM systems and tools to provide enterprise-wide access to and insight into Pfizers records and information. You will leverage AI Machine Learning and process automation technologies to ensure best-in-class data management and preservation practices within will also drive strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts that enhance defensible record disposition expand services establish performance metrics support Privacy Operations and improve the day-to-day management of both electronic and physical records across the organization.

As the Senior Manager you will champion the evaluation and adoption of evolving technical solutions ensuring that technology is effectively applied to simplify processes increase efficiency and maintain compliance with IGRM policies. You will collaborate with key stakeholders across the enterprise to implement a unified approach to information governance delivering impactful solutions that align with Pfizers strategic direction and policy objectives.

In addition to the above in this role you will:

  • Partner with the IGRM team and key stakeholders (internal and external to Pfizer) to define and implement IGRM business analytics plans that inform business priorities and objectives.
  • Recognize and action against business priorities and information needs analyze complex data sets to identify opportunities to reduce information gaps and maximize IGRM efficiencies throughout the enterprise
  • Support the reduction of duplicative record systems by analyzing content of clients systems and determining compatibility for inclusion in the Central Index of Company Records (CICR).
  • Leverage IGRM and non-IGRM owned data sources to enhance metadata in the CICR system to improve record lifecycle decisions.
  • Maximize the utilization of technology solutions (automated RIM systems Electronic Record Repository (ERR) ESI eDiscovery auto-classification etc.) in accordance with organizations mission to shift to a less paper environment.
  • Provide advice and support on IGRM implications and considerations related to eDiscovery Litigation Holds data collection and retention.
  • Lead design or configuration of new IGRM solutions and technology and provide subject matter expertise and operational support to existing IGRM technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure security and preservation requirements are met as a core component of all initiatives and influence the integration of records management requirements into information technology systems to guide Pfizer business organizations to improve RIM lifecycle processes and standards via data insights.
  • Administer and maintain the integration of the Legal Holds in the Central Index of Company Records (CICR) to ensure records are properly preserved.
  • Ensure service provider technology is maintained (e.g. integrated secure and fit-for-use).
  • Partner with other IGRM functions to scope new or amended services to meet evolving business needs and maximize business value from service provider agreements/relationships.
  • Proactively engage Pfizer Enterprise to encourage adoption and adherence of IGRM standards & services and provide guidance regarding IGRM challenges.
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to apply data mining and predictive analytics to improve business decision making
  • Keep abreast of industry IGRM best practices and recommend best practice procedures for the application of technology to creation storage disposition and disposal of records.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements):

  • Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science MIS or a related discipline
  • 6 years of Technical Program or Project Management experience related to records management in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional leaders and senior management while partnering with stakeholders to define business needs and implement effective RIM solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and apply creative analytical thinking to develop and recommend effective data-driven solutions
  • Strong business operations acumen and a bias for action
  • Thrives in fast-paced dynamic environments with the ability to work independently and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers develop and coach others oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):

  • MBA or Masters degree in strategy management or technical field is a plus
  • Experience in records management information governance and systems integration
  • Strong knowledge of physical and electronic records practices and regulatory standards (e.g. 21 CFR 11)
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical records compliance and industry guidelines
  • Proven success implementing global Records Management programs and best practices
  • Skilled in client relationship management leadership and and customer service in a technological context
  • Strong program leadership and project management capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to build business partnerships and deliver client value
  • Proficient in process design/redesign and establishing data standards
  • Expertise with Open Text Content Server reporting tools and complex SQL queries
  • Experienced in leading change initiatives and driving adoption

Other Job Details:

  • Last day to apply: August 5 2025
  • Work location assignment: Hybrid - onsite an average of 2.5 days per week or as the business requires.
  • Travel for meetings/conferences up to 1-2 times per year

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $121600.00 to $202600.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
