Please review the following job description:

Identify develop and maintain a portfolio of financially complex client relationships within the defined mass affluent market segment within the Truist footprint. In addition to being an individual contributor this position will require direct management coaching and development of a team of Premier Bankers/Advisors in a relationship management role focused on meeting the unique needs of mass affluent and business clients.

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed both major and minor which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Hybrid Leader/producer role responsible for leadership & supervisory responsibilities of an average of 5 Premier Bankers (InMarket and/or Virtual) in addition to meeting individual producer targets.
2. Personally establish and periodically update understanding of client financial needs and conditions based upon sound profiling and personal financial planning analysis. Proactively work with the financial advisor on assigned investment accounts for adherence to investment and asset allocation objectives and policies. Monitor maintain and update sales activity pipeline and other pertinent information using the banks contact management system.
3. Maintain a talent management strategy that includes sourcing developing retaining and recruiting premier bankers/advisors; promoting an inclusive and diverse culture geared towards achieving revenue and production goals by acquiring and retaining mass affluent households. Responsible for leading and instilling Truist purpose mission and values with their respected teammates
4. Leads and coaches premier bankers/advisors in general advanced and complex tasks related to relationship building as well as banking investments insurance financial planning and trust and fiduciary services. Commits to an ongoing development and review process with each direct report.
5. Ensures industry leading service levels are delivered by Premier Bankers/Advisors and that they are meeting or exceeding individual production and growth expectations within deposits lending risk management planning mortgage and investments.
6. In coordination with the Premier Region Director collaborate with various leaders in Truist (ex. Market Presidents) and Internal Relationship Management (IRM) partners (ex. Wealth Region Director Complex Managers) who are designated to support client service and business development efforts (e.g. banking mortgage planning investments and insurance services) in a manner that promotes one team client retention relationship deepening and prospect referrals and executes on the enterprise IRM strategy.
7. Ensures compliance with internal controls operational procedures and risk management policies. Responsible for ensuring that business transactions and practices of direct reports as well as in the individuals span of control comply with all regulations and the Company Code of Conduct.
8. Participate in the ongoing implementation and development of the Premier Banking program including processes products services and operating policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree with a concentration in business accounting finance banking or equivalent education and related training or experience.
2. Minimum of ten years of experience working with mass affluent clients dealing with banking investments financial planning or lending or comparable experience.
3. Strong working knowledge of a broad range of personal financial planning/advisory and investment management/asset allocation concepts and understanding of retail credit and traditional retail bank products for the mass affluent market.
4. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed minimum performance standards specific to investments and insurance.
5. A minimum of Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) FINRA Series 7 Series 66 or 65/63 and Series 24 registrations and applicable Insurance licenses (Life Health and Variable) must be active and maintained or must be obtained within 100180 days of job entry date. Active FINRA licenses must be transferred within 60 days of job entry date.
6. Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant with 30 days of employment in this role including new or transfer of registration and applicable NMLS acceptable background check.
7. Ability to handle a complex level of tasks and priorities during the course of a business day; Possesses skill ability and aptitude to deliver premier levels of industry leading service problem resolution and advanced sales functions.
8. Demonstrated at least 5 years of leadership skills and abilities to lead a sales team to meet or exceed expectations in the areas of banking investments mortgage insurance and planning or comparable leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Masters degree in business accounting finance or banking.
2. Completion or enrollment in professional level certification programs such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Accredited Asset Management Specialist Certified Trust and Financial Advisor Chartered Life Underwriter or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
3. Completion of established management or career development program or banking school.
