The Lead Cosmetologist is responsible for ensuring that all Cosmetologists Estheticians Nail Technicians and Hair Stylists are trained on treatment protocols guest service procedures open and closing duties general sanitation procedures and Omni policies. The Lead Cosmetologist is responsible for guest satisfaction by providing and maintaining the highest standards of customer service and creating a feeling of comfort and relaxation for our guests. The Lead Cosmetologist is responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the Salon Spa Treatment Rooms and Prep Areas. The Lead Cosmetologist is expected to maintain a consistently positive attitude and knowledge of all facets of the operation with attention to detail is required.

• Display effectively communicate and hold all spa associates accountable for The Trilogy.
• Assist Spa Director/Manager in maintaining a par level of treatment products. Assist with reorders as needed. Ensure all treatments rooms are adequately stocked.
• Assist Spa Director/Manager by ensuring all products are used in an efficient manner.
• Provide training/coaching/counseling as needed should a spa service complaint be received.
• Assist Spa Director/Manager by doing a regular walkthru of the spa treatment areas to ensure all equipment is working and rooms are being maintained to standard.
• Assist with the Interview process of new Cosmetologists Estheticians Nail Technicians and Hair Stylists and provide all onboarding training so that all new Cosmetologists Estheticians Nail Technicians and Hair Stylists can provide treatments using Homestead protocols.
• As needed lead inspiring morning Standup meetings that motivate spa associates to provide great spa treatments impeccable guest service and sell product.
• The Lead Cosmetologist will train all new Cosmetologists Estheticians Nail Technicians and Hair Stylists to standard as well as complete all 30/60/90day checklists as required.
• Provide Spa Director/Manager feedback pertaining to annual performance reviews for Cosmetologists Estheticians Nail Technicians and Hair Stylists.
• No Job Description for a position can possibly include all duties which may be requested by guests or required by the hotel. Any additional task/project requested by the Spa Director/Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift hold and carry up to 45 pounds.
• Must be able to push/pull 100 pounds.
• Must be able to sit/stand and walk for the entirety of the scheduled shift.
• Must have the ability to work weekends holidays mornings and evening shifts.
• Knowledge of facility layout and ability to provide directions to the hotel.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
• Maintain a friendly professional congenial personality.
• Flexibility in regard to scheduling. Responsible and dependable.
• Ability to make good decisions and be a team player.

Education and/or Experience:

• VA State License of Cosmetology
• Two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
