Job Description

Summary:

Our client is looking for a Territory Manager to join their team! This fully remote role involves extensive travel throughout the Bay Area focusing on building strong relationships with physicians in private group and hospital settings. The ideal candidate will be driven to exceed sales goals while delivering excellent customer service and support.

  • Location: Must be based in either San Francisco East Bay or South Bay
  • Work Model: Remote; Extensive traveling covering the Bay Area

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships
  • Educate clients and conduct product demonstrations at trade shows
  • Develop business strategies with customers to drive their success
  • Plan and implement strategies to elevate sales performance
  • Conduct marketing research and manage the assigned territory
  • Support inservice and followup training initiatives
  • Track and report sales activities in a timely and organized manner
  • Assist with postsale customer issues and coordinate with Field Service and company staff

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of businesstobusiness sales experience specifically within medical device companies or similar
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong lead generation skills with consistent quality prospecting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Positive attitude selfmotivated selfdisciplined and committed to customer satisfaction
  • Excellent territory management selling and closing abilities
  • Effective communication skills with active listening capabilities
  • Highly organized with strong sales tracking and reporting skills
  • Honest coachable and able to work collaboratively as a team player
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to personal and professional development
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the Bay Area

Education/Certification Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors degree is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of direct medical laser sales B2B sales and capital equipment sales experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with selling to physicians in private group and hospital settings is a major plus
