Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Functional Analyst with strong experience in requirement gathering systems analysis and data modeling. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in agile environments and has a solid understanding of webbased systems.
Tasks
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders
- Analyze and document business and technical requirements using user stories or use cases
- Design and model data structures to support solution architecture
- Collaborate with development teams to translate requirements into functional solutions
- Support system analysis for web applications including those developed in Java and C#
- Ensure alignment between business needs and technical implementation
- Work in agile environments participating in ceremonies and backlog grooming
Requirements
- 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst or similar role
- Strong experience in requirements gathering business analysis and data modeling
- Proficient in SQL for querying and validating data
- Experience writing user stories or use cases
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum Kanban)
- Previous exposure to web systems analysis ideally in Java or C# environments
- Willingness to relocate to Portugal in the future
- Fluent Portuguese or minimum B2 level (spoken and written)
