Job Description
The Identity and Access Management group is responsible for the protection of customer and corporate data. We are connected to all parts of Amazons business and its massive worldwide serviceoriented architecture.
We are starting work on a new mission critical system that will preserve and improve the trusted experience that Amazon provides to its customers. This is a greenfield initiative with plenty of opportunity for innovation in the security space through new data exploration and machine learning techniques.
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer with a great passion for data and an insatiable desire to be curious and invent. A commitment to team work and strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners) are absolute requirements. Creating reliable scalable and high performance products requires exceptional technical expertise a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science and practical experience building largescale distributed systems. This position will require working crossfunctionally across multiple teams and technologies.

Experience in professional noninternship software development
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java C or C# including objectoriented design
Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience with full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations
