Fulltime Office Based

Were recruiting for a Bookkeeper on behalf of a wellestablished practice based in Liverpool.

Youll manage bookkeeping and VAT return submissions for a varied portfolio of SME clients with scope to grow the role as Making Tax Digital expands.

What youll be doing:

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for a range of clients

• Process sales purchases bank reconciliations and journals

• Prepare and submit VAT returns under different VAT schemes

• Communicate directly with clients to request information and resolve queries

• Use cloud accounting systems such as Xero QuickBooks Sage

• Help develop the firms digital bookkeeping offering as MTD grows

What were looking for:

• At least 2 years practice experience in a bookkeeping role ideally within an accountancy firm

• Confident handling multiple clients and working to deadlines

• Strong working knowledge of cloud accounting software

• Attention to detail and solid understanding of VAT rules

• Willingness to adapt and grow as digital services expand

• Full UK working rights Unable to offer sponsorship
