DWP seeks applicants for the position of Compliance Specialist in its Andover Massachusetts office. The Compliance department leads and guides DWPs efforts to comply with statutory regulatory and legal requirements that affect the company. The Compliance department also manages the companys audit and risk management functions.
What Youll Do
- Track analyze and implement as appropriate local State and Federal laws rules regulations and ordinances pertaining to DWPs lines of business
- Assist in the Compliance program development as it relates to principles practices and techniques of clinical billing and coding compliance management
- Policy and procedure development as it relates to clinical and billing compliance program elements. Monitor billing coding and claims activities to ensure accuracy
- Effective research techniques utilized in the analysis of organizational compliance
- Monitoring against regulatory requirements; ensures sufficient monitoring activities to assist with prevention and proactive identification of compliance concerns
- Coordinate delivery of internal and external deliverables with stakeholders at every level in the company
- Provides compliance guidance and direction to assigned business partners
- Assist with the administration of PolicyTech (or similar policy management system). Works with business areas to help develop policy procedure SOP processes and audits for completion on a regular basis
- Providing support for Compliance Committee meetings and activities
- Collaborate crossfunctionally across the organization to support the implementation of policies procedures and processes
- Assembles presentation materials for internal and external meetings as directed
- Support effective training resources for employees contractors and vendors
What Youll Need to Succeed
- Bachelors Degree or relevant work experience required
- 23 years of experience with regulatory compliance preferred
- Compliance Certification (i.e. CHC) preferred or willingness to become certified within first 1824 months of employment
- Experience with data privacy and/or HIPAA requirements desired
- MS Office with strong proficiency in Word PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong writing editing and research skills
- Ability to handle compliance matters with sensitivity and confidentiality
- Exceptional communication skills and appreciation of time sensitivity to deadlines
- Project management skills desired
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work with all levels of management within the organization
- Strong ethical standards and integrity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
