Job Duties
Western State Hospital is seeking a full time Housekeeping Worker who will provide a safe sanitary and attractive environment for patients staff and visitors at Western State Hospital. The Housekeeping Worker will Bathrooms and shower rooms are cleaned daily; replenish paper products; ensure all trash removed daily; clean mirrors; ensure floors are mopped daily; ensure walls and ceilings are cleaned as needed; clean windows doors fixtures cleaned as needed; and dush mop and wet mop floors daily.
This position will also check rooms daily; perform cleaning tasks as needed with a thorough cleaning weekly; remove trash; wipe down tables and chairs; clean windows doors walls; dust mop and wet mop daily; buff weekly; and finishing floors as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
general knowledge in cleaning bathrooms bedrooms dayrooms floor finishings and cleaning/operating housekeeping equipment

read write perform basic math calculations lift heavy objects prolonged standing walking on various surfaces climb ladders work on knees and work in various conditions
