Certified Nurse Assistant - Pulmonology

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Collaborates with the Clinic Office Nurse and/or Provider in providing basic nursing care for clinic patients. Including accurately and thoroughly updating medication lists in electronic health record. Receives direction from: Nurses Providers Coordinators and Clinical Managers/Supervisors.

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Follows most current standards for continuing education requirements as dictated by State/Federal licensure regulations
• Medication aide training program or Clinic sanctioned medication reconciliation course preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

• MT CNA Certification
• BLS desired
• Medication aide certification preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Medical Terminology
• Keyboarding skills
• Basic office skills
