Located at Bolton Clarkes Residential Aged Care Home The Ormsby. 136 Beds and located in Buderim on the Sunshine Coast Queensland.
As a Cleaning and Laundry attendant you will
- Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times.
- Attend to residents personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards tables ensuites and other equipment or furniture located in the residents room.
- Assist with the provision of a safe efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
- Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required.
- Provide a high quality effective and efficient laundry service for residents (including laundry sorting label checking washing of personal clothing linen and kitchen napery folding and ironing) observing appropriate standards and infection control procedures.
You bring: at least 12months experience in a commercial laundry or professional cleaning role a real commitment to working safely fabulous teamwork skills basic computer skills and a passion for making a difference.
Mandatory Compliance requirements if successful
- Willing to obtain a national police Check
- ID Birth Certificate Drivers Licence Passport Working rights in Australia
- Seasonal Flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
- Evidence of Covid19 vaccinations in line with current requirements
