About the role
We are seeking an experiencedExcavator Operatorsfor our team at Pembroke Resources autonomous project in the Bowen Basin the Olive Downs Complex.
Pembroke Resources Olive Downs Complex is a greenfield project located 40 kilometres Southeast of Moranbah and which commenced mining operations in mid2023. Thiess has recently been awarded a fiveyear contract to deliver fullservice mining operations including mine planning overburden removal drill and blast load and haul water management and rehabilitation as well as the construction of the mine infrastructure.
Working 7 days on 7 days off day/night roster and reporting to the Mining Supervisor your duties will include:
- Operatingand 9800 Excavator machinery efficiently safely and competently to ensure maximum output
- Complying with Thiess policies and procedures
- Operate drive and move material as directed to prepare operating areas and roads
About you
- Proven experience operatinglarge Excavators in a mining environment
- SSE signed training transcripts
- Current Drivers Licence
- Current Standard 11
- Preferred experience with CAT MineStar technologies including Command for Haulage Fleet and/or Terrain
