Job Description

Department: CVOR Tech*Certifications Required: BLS CST or NCCT ND state lic* # of Suites: 12 ORs 1 Endo Suite 1 Cysto Suite 2 CVOR Suites Common Cases: ION robotic cases Open hearts (CABG Valve aneuryms) thoracotomies VATS Convergent AAA carotids ECMO Impella 5.5 Davinci XI Robot Stryker towers Experience or Must have skills: MUST have open heart experience & must be willing to cross train into other specialties if CV volumes are low. Staff must be willing to float to the floor as a 1:1 sitter; we do this to supplement hours if we have a low case volume Is there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift Does the charge nurse take an assignment: Charge nurse Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow selfscheduling Block scheduling):;;(weekend only). CV team lead will make schedule Weeknight/Call Requirements: 34 times per weekWeekend/Call Requirements: Every other to every third Fri at 1515 to Mon at 0645 Holiday/Call Requirements: Rotating holidays must be willing to work holidays What is call response time: 15 minutes
