As a key member of the leadership team the Senior Director of eCommerce will report directly to the CEO and play a strategic role in the overall management of the company. This leader is the general manager of Intelligentsias rapidly growing directtoconsumer business accountable for its P&L performance and longterm growth. This leader owns all aspects of our eCommerce operations across and blending strategic oversight with handson execution.
From optimizing digital campaigns to refining the customer journey this role is responsible for reaching new customers driving conversion increasing lifetime value and building a premium brand experience online.
This position leads a broad portfolio: overseeing performance marketing and SEO managing agency partners (paid affiliate and digital) owning the email and SMS channels and guiding site operations and customer support. In close partnership with our brand and creative teams the Sr. Director of eCommerce ensures were delivering on both brand integrity and revenue targets.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Business Ownership & Strategy
Develop and execute the longterm strategy annual business plan and budget for the eCommerce channel
Own full P&L responsibility for and with a focus on profitable sustainable growth
Lead monthly forecasting and financial reporting proactively identifying risks and opportunities
Growth & Performance Marketing
Oversee customer acquisition across paid search paid social affiliate SEO and emerging channels leveraging agency partners and internal resources
Drive continuous testing learning and performance optimization to maximize ROAS and CAC efficiency
Manage owned channels including email SMS and onsite merchandising to support conversion and retention goals
Champion a testandlearn culture rooted in data and experimentation
Digital Experience & Technology
Lead strategy and execution of website content UX enhancements and eCommerce features to drive engagement and conversion
Collaborate with internal and external teams on ongoing site improvements including design navigation and functionality
Explore and define roadmap for future platforms (e.g. mobile app development) that support a premium digital brand experience
Own subscription lifecycle performance including acquisition retention pause/skip logic churn analytics and product experience improvements
Analytics & Insights
Build a culture of insightdriven decision making by improving digital analytics tools dashboards and reporting practices
Monitor traffic conversion subscription and engagement metrics to inform strategic initiatives
Translate data into clear insights and share key trends with the broader leadership team
CrossFunctional Leadership
Partner closely with Brand and Design to develop creative assets (including video and motion) that support acquisition and storytelling
Align with CX teams to ensure a seamless endtoend experience for eCommerce customers
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across supply chain finance and product to deliver on eCommerce growth goals
Build and lead a highperforming eCommerce team; identify capability gaps recruit top talent and foster a culture of ownership agility and experimentation
Collaborate with retail and wholesale teams to align digital and physical experiences driving unified customer engagement across channels
People Leadership
Regularly coach communicate monitor and evaluate individual and team performance for areas of improvement development and accountability
Create communicate and embed a vision that unites the team to deliver against business targets
Ensure policies values and standards are upheld within the team
Required Qualifications:
710 years of experience in eCommerce digital marketing or DTC growth roles with demonstrated ownership of a highimpact P&L
Proven track record of driving customer acquisition retention and revenue growth through paid media SEO affiliate email/SMS and onsite strategies
Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions prioritize investments and build performance dashboards
Experience leading or collaborating with digital agencies and crossfunctional internal teams (e.g. brand design CX operations)
Handson familiarity with major eCommerce platforms (e.g. Shopify or similar) Google Analytics Klaviyo or ESPs and performance marketing tools
Demonstrated ability to lead projects from strategy through execution in a fastpaced entrepreneurial environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills able to advocate for ideas explain tradeoffs and influence at all levels of the organization
Passion for building premium consumer experiences and a strong appreciation for the brands voice and values
Ability to read write and speak English proficiently
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in premium or missiondriven consumer brands
Background in physical product eCommerce with logistics fulfillment or CX exposure
Familiarity with subscriptionbased business models and lifetime value optimization
Experience launching or scaling a brand through influencer affiliate or creatorled marketing
Comfort navigating both creative brandbuilding and performancedriven marketing environments

The employee frequently is required to stand walk sit; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms..
At times may require more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position.
Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding).
Frequent travel required.
Work Environment:
Office and warehouse environment.
The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
Currently working a hybrid schedule between office and home.
