Job Description
The DarkStar Group a GRVTY Company is seeking a Systems Administrator with a TS/SCI Poly to join one of our top projects in Chantilly VA. Below is an overview of the project as well as information on our company our benefits and our $25000 referral program.
THE PROJECT
The DarkStar Group is a member of 100% of the winning teams for the largest technology program in the Intel Community. Weve been supporting this customer on many different subprojects of this program since our founding in 2013. Weve grown on this effort by providing the customer with Engineers who have done exceptional work and weve retained our staff by paying very strong salaries and working hard to ensure each Engineer is doing work that aligns with their career interest.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated experience with system administration in Windows & Linux/Centos Server environment.
- Demonstrated professional experience analyzing troubleshooting and tuning performance parameters in the Apache/Tomcat Java Webserver environment.
- Demonstrated professional experience defining requesting configuring and monitoring Cloud server architectures to include Amazon Web Server EC2 RDBS S3 and Elastic Load Balancer Route 53 in a Tier 3 support environment.
- Demonstrated professional experience developing and implementing system upgrades.
- Demonstrated experience identifying technical risks and risk mitigation strategies
- Demonstrated experience providing Operations & Maintenance Tier 13 Support
- Demonstrated customer relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated experience creating and updating procedures e.g. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Demonstrated experience using Agile management systems and methods such as Kanban or Scrum.
- Demonstrated experience working in the DevSecOps environment e.g. CI/CD pipeline cloudformation.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing CLIs with Windows AWS and Linux environments.
- Demonstrated experience moving systems through the accreditation and authorization (A&A) process and monitoring for compliance.
- Demonstrated experience with gathering evidence to support the A&A process e.g. POA&Ms.
- Demonstrated professional experience installing and configuring the Moodle Learning Management System.
- Demonstrate experience with Database engineering development and administration.
