Location: Bozeman MT (can Intern remotely to HQ Arlington VA)
We will likely have a Bozeman office location where you can work and collaborate with other interns.

Black Cape is seeking software engineering Interns from Montana State University who are interested in
growing their technical skills in real world capabilities!

We are a VeteranOwned Small Business with expertise in developing Mission Applications and applying
Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to hard problems in the Government and Commercial
Sectors.

Black Cape offers customized Internships designed to support the lifecycle of technology projects and
help foster the growth of its interns.

We are seeking candidates who are working to complete a Bachelor of Science or a Master of Science
degree in a technical capacity. Example technical degrees offered at Montana State University would
include Computer Science Electrical & Computer Engineering Data Science Mathematics Physics and
Computer Systems Technology.

Black Cape Headquarters office is in Arlington VA and we have a small office in Austin TX. We also
have small presences in Charlottesville VA Tampa FL and Honolulu HI.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and testing of enterprise web applications
• Collaborate with senior developers on various software development projects
• Apply usercentered design principles in software development
• Participate in agile development processes and team meetings as needed
• Contribute to the improvement of existing software and the creation of new features
• Have Fun with Great people while learning and growing your skills

Requirements and Skills:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant BSc or MSc program (e.g. Computer Science Electrical & Computer Engineering Data Science Mathematics Physics and Computer Systems Technology)
• Interest in Federal and commercial web application development
• Knowledge in at least one objectoriented web framework
• Interest in usercentered interaction design
• Agile thinker and capable of working effectively as part of a team
• Motivated to learn new technologies and frameworks
• Team player who likes to help contribute to an impactful mission!
