Description: Minnesota Internship Center Charter High School is seeking candidates for a Safety Support/Maintenance position at our Online East Campus in St Paul. The duties of this position include ensuring the safety of staff and students enforcing rules and regulations for students and assisting staff when disciplinary actions need to be taken for a student and general maintenance of the building.
Qualifications: Candidates should have experience working in an Educational setting. Experience working with secondary students is preferred. Experience with day to day maintenance of a large space. MNIC Charter School seeks Safety and Support and Maintenance personnel that support the students and staff. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is a selfstarter and can work independently or as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will create a safe and engaging environment for the students and staff while promoting MNICs culture and policies. The position requires following all program policies and procedures including health and safety. In addition the opportunity to work with youth aged 1420 in a dynamic environment.

Compensation
Wages are competitive with other schools in the area. All regular MNIC positions are fulltime and salaried including paraprofessionals nutritionists and maintenance. That means that you receive the same paycheck every pay period of the year and wont ever have a lower or missed paycheck because of school breaks.
Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays
Schoolyear employees receive 80 hours of paid time off per school year (10 full days) along with 22 scheduled paid days off for holidays and school breaks. Yearround employees receive 160 hours of paid time off per year (20 full days) along with 28 scheduled paid days off for holidays and school breaks.

Retirement Plans
All MNIC employees are enrolled in Minnesota retirement plans with significant employer contributions. Licensed teachers are enrolled through the Teachers Retirement Association (TRA) and receive an employer contribution of 8.55%. All other employers are enrolled through the Public Employees Retirement Association and received an employer contribution of 7.5%.
