Requirements: Bachelor of Education Degree
Desired Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience teaching in an elementary school setting.
- Knowledge and familiarity with Assessment for Learning Literacy and Differentiated Instruction practices PBIS literacy and numeracy assessments.
- Effective organizational and classroom management skills is imperative.
- Ability to integrate and use technology in the classroom.
- Ability to create goals for Individual Program Plans as well as implement the plan for students.
- A strong ability to build relationships with elementary school students and parents.
- A willingness to participate in the school community beyond the classroom.
- A commitment to continuous professional growth.
- Knowledge of Leader In Me and Apple School programs.
- The ability to work as a member of a team in a collaborative work environment and in professional learning communities.
- A willingness to participate in school community and extracurricular activities.
- A commitment to continuous professional growth.
- Knowledge of antibullying strategies is an asset.
- Ability to integrate technology into the classroom.
