Job Description
Create design drawings for structural steel and reinforced concrete for heavy industrial/power plant projects
Prepare layouts conceptual designs and fabrication drawings
Proficient in AutoCAD; extensive 3D modeling experience is a plus
Perform steel and concrete detailing
Collaborate effectively with design engineering staff and/or vendors
Must live within 1 hour commute of The Energy Center in Birmingham AL
Initial 12 weeks inoffice required; remote work possible after onboarding
Structural Designer 1: 05 years of relevant experience
Structural Designer 2: 57 years of relevant experience
