Job Description
- Create design drawings for structural steel and reinforced concrete for heavy industrial/power plant projects
- Prepare layouts conceptual designs and fabrication drawings
- Proficient in AutoCAD; extensive 3D modeling experience is a plus
- Perform steel and concrete detailing
- Collaborate effectively with design engineering staff and/or vendors
- Must live within 1 hour commute of The Energy Center in Birmingham AL
- Initial 1-2 weeks in-office required; remote work possible after onboarding
- Structural Designer 1: 0-5 years of relevant experience
- Structural Designer 2: 5-7 years of relevant experience
