Job Description

Interior Architectural Designer at Multi-Disciplinary Practice

A people-centred studio recognised for award-winning residential design is expanding its interiors team. You will own day-to-day delivery of high-quality design-led projects from concept to site collaborating closely with architects to ensure every interior elevates the wider architectural vision.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned projects or packages against programme budget and quality targets

  • Translate concepts into clear presentations using sketches models and mood boards

  • Develop detailed drawings schedules and full specification packs ready for tender and site

  • Coordinate suppliers FF&E and specialist trades safeguarding cost and design intent

  • Represent the studio at client consultant and contractor meetings reporting to senior leadership

  • Track and report spend on your workstream flagging risks early and proposing solutions

  • Contribute to pitches competitions and industry events showcasing best practice

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum two years in a professional interior design role with residential portfolio strength

  • Degree in Interior Design; Part 1 Part 2 or full architectural qualification advantageous

  • Confident in Revit VectorWorks Affinity SketchUp InDesign Photoshop and Microsoft Office

  • Ability to produce coordinated GA drawings joinery details and comprehensive specifications

  • Strong freehand sketching and visual storytelling skills are a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication with proven client-facing ability

  • Collaborative mindset that thrives in small multidisciplinary teams
