About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure automation and DevOps practices particularly within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable infrastructure implementing CI/CD pipelines and ensuring security and performance of our cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Design develop and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform
Maintain reusable and scalable code for infrastructure provisioning
Manage environment lifecycle across development staging and production
2. CI/CD & Automation:
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build test and deployment
Integrate tools like Bitbucket SCC and other DevOps frameworks
Ensure high availability and consistency of deployment processes
3. Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Administer and optimize GCP services such as:
Compute Engine
Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
Google Cloud Run
Cloud Storage
Cloud Pub/Sub
PostgreSQL databases
Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) for secure access control
4. Monitoring and Logging:
Implement robust monitoring and alerting using Grafana and Cloud Monitoring
Set up efficient logging with Cloud Logging to ensure system reliability
Proactively identify and address system performance issues
5. Security and Compliance:
Apply security best practices and ensure compliance requirements are met
Use tools like Snyk and SonarQube for vulnerability and code quality checks
Support DevSecOps integration across the development lifecycle
Required Skills & Qualifications:
6 10 years of experience in DevOps Site Reliability Engineering or Infrastructure roles
Handson experience with Terraform for IaC
Solid experience in GCP ecosystem and services
Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and methodologies
Experience with security scanning tools such as Snyk and code quality tools like SonarQube
Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana Cloud Monitoring and Logging
Experience working with distributed systems and containerized environments (e.g. GKE Cloud Run)
Strong scripting skills (e.g. Shell Python etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
GCP Professional Certification (e.g. DevOps Engineer Cloud Architect)
Experience working in Agile or DevSecOps environments
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams
