Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a Vice President Risk & Assurance to join our leadership team in Abidjan. This strategic role is central to building and leading a robust risk management and internal audit framework across the Group ensuring alignment with the highest international governance standards.
Reporting directly to the Audit Committee Chair with a dotted line to the CFO the VP will oversee both the Enterprise Risk Management process (2nd line of defense) and the Internal Audit function (3rd line of defense). Youll play a key role in providing assurance to the Executive Committee and Board that risks are well managed across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Design and manage the EnterpriseWide Risk Management Framework: RACM principal/emerging risks fraud risk selfcertification and more.
Lead the Internal Audit function define and deliver the annual riskbased audit plan and ensure implementation of findings.
Monitor compliance with the 2024 UK Corporate Governance Code and Global IIA Standards.
Develop and present dashboards and KPIs to the Audit Committee; coordinate with external auditors and subjectmatter experts.
Coach and lead a team of risk compliance and audit professionals in a matrix organization
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications & Experience
Advanced degree in Finance Business or a related field. CPA/CA or CIA preferred.
10 years of postgraduate experience including 5 years leading teams ideally within Internal Audit.
Proven experience in audit (preferably from Big 4 firms); knowledge of US SOX and GRC systems is a plus.
Fluency in both English and French is required.
Ability to influence at senior levels and work effectively in crossfunctional multicultural teams.
