Job Description

As the Inside Sales Supervisor youll have the opportunity to:

Lead the Inside Sales Representatives to succeed in supporting the key Wholesale and Retail Business Unit initiatives and outside sales team for the US & Canada. The Inside Sales Supervisor will create a positive team environment ensuring the satisfaction of our internal & external customers. The Inside Sales Supervisor will provide daytoday leadership of the Inside Sales team including measuring & monitoring the metrics of the team while also performing the duties of the Inside Sales Representative.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead Inside Sales team concentrating on productivity and achieving objectives.
  • Interact effectively and conduct effectual sales strategies tactics along with closing skills.
  • Identify & implement new tools to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of all Inside Sales Representatives.
  • Maintain sales and marketing campaigns on inside sales representative level as well as report.
  • Report on relevant activities & results for the Inside Sales team.
  • Support key strategic initiatives as set forth from WBU & Retail leadership team.
  • Pre and Post Sale follow up on leads to help OSR drive additional business.  
  • Act as liaison with other functional areas (Product Management Engineering Technical Sales Marketing and Outside Sales).
  • Partner with Builder Manager/Specialist District and Territory Sales Managers in growing the Small Medium and Customer Builder segments.
  • Proactively identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities that exist within the IS department.
  • Leverage CRM (HubSpot) Reporting tools (QlikView/People Soft) and other relevant systems.
  • Provide team members with valuable development activities and stretch assignments.
  • Assist Inside Sales Mgr. in ongoing training and development of Inside Sales Team.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

  • 25 years of sales experience including team leadership or mentorship roles
  • Have an understanding of and experience in reporting software order entry systems lead generation software MS Office (Outlook Excel etc.)
  • Ability to provide feedback & coaching to team of inside sales representatives
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments in a fastpaced atmosphere
  • Strong account management skills rapport building discovery and closing techniques

Nice To Have: 

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Sales or similar
  • Experience in the building products or construction industries is highly desired


Additional Information :

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $56000 USD $77000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location. In addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a rolebased sales incentive plan.
